A lovely American Sterling Silver Overlay Vase decorated with an Art Nouveau floral design interspersed with delicate scroll work. Very rare pair hand blown Whiting sterling silver and cobalt glass salt and pepper. This is the only pair we have ever seen. This is from a special line of glass and silver that Whiting made c1885. Over the years we have seen several decanters and a tobacco jar, Maybe 10 pieces total. This is one of the finest silver overlay vases we have had in stock. The silver is art nouveau in design, and beautifully applied in a swirled design. Very finely hand engraved. Wonderful Cranberry color to the crystal. The vase is 5 ½ inches tall, The diameter of the top is 3 1/4 inches. The condition of this piece is excellent. It is truly exquisite. A one of a kind item.

A cute Miniature silver overlay perfume vial with deep cobalt glass. Decorated on both sides with a cross hatched silver overlay design that has a very nice hand engraving on the silver. This bell shaped silver overlay perfume is quite lovely. It is applied all over the stopper and the bottle. The silver overlay is in a swirled design with an open area on both sides. Stopper is a beautiful shaped design. A beautiful Art Nouveau design. It measures 3 ½ inches in height. Very good condition.

A charming American Sterling Silver Overlay Pitcher decorated in a lattice and scroll motif design. This overlay pitcher would be perfect as a morning milk creamer or for use as a small bar pitcher. This beautifully crafted iridescent glass and silver overlay vase was made by the Loetz factory of Austria, circa 1900. The sterling silver overlay engraved floral motif is signed with the hallmark of Alvin Mfg. This amber to green art glass vase was made by the Quezal glass factory circa 1905. The ovoid body is overlaid and applied with a finely engraved undulating Art Nouveau silver overlay decoration of flowers amidst foliage by Gorham Mfg. Co. of Providence, RI. This beautifully crafted iridescent glass and silver overlay vase was made by the Loetz factory circa 1900. Its colors typify the Loetz patented glass process of the deep blue or gold metallic shades for which Loetz is known. The vase has an engraved number 1137 on the underside of the base.
