Japanese Silver and Cloisonné Enamel Koro, Meiji Period, Circa 1890. Signed under base with a butterfly insignia and Japanese characters. This is a specimen example of the art of the late 19th century Japanese Silversmith. The koro is designed as a bombe form box, repoussé and pierced with three dimensional chrysanthemum style flowers. This swan was made by the Durgin Co., Circa 1910, which was purchased by Gorham in the early 20th Century. This lovely swan is quite beautiful. Excellent finishing work to the feathers on the body. A great curve to the neck as in nature. It has a metal flower frog attached on top. Weight with brass flower frog 9 troy ounces. It measures 8 1/2' by 7". excellent condition.

This is a lovely silver gilt pill box embellished with emerald, ruby, and diamond chips with small seed pearls. This shaped trapezoidal box has elegant Rococo curves. The sides are decorated with a lovely flower and scroll band against a stippled background. This is a lovely pair of German 800 silver table figures of an exquisitely rendered Knight and Queen. Each stands on a square openwork base with delicate floral designs. The Knight is grounded on a circular stand and is poised proudly in full costume with a shield at his right with an elaborate coat-of-arms, and a sword on his left hip.
