A small Sterling Silver Basket hand weaved from strips of sterling silver into a charming lattice pattern and trimmed with a simple sterling band. A beautiful handle adds the finishing touch to the piece. Made by Cartier. Circa 1960. Fully Hallmarked; reads Cartier HANDMADE Sterling. The basket measures 6 ¼ in. X 6 ½ in. X 3 ½ in. ( 6 ¾ in. to top of handle). Nice Patina. Excellent Condition.

A large, round Sterling Silver Serving Tray made by one of France’s premier silversmiths- Jean Puiforcat- who was well known for his simple, yet breathtaking, Art Deco designs. This tray boasts an applied strap work border that clearly depicts the understated craftsmanship of his work. The tray measures 13 5/8 in. in diameter and is of a quite substantial weight at 39 troy ounces. Fully Hallmarked. Beautiful Patina. Excellent condition.
