Gorgeous and elegant, this Pair of Sterling Silver English George III Style Candlesticks was made in London in 1997. The candlesticks are fully hallmarked on the sides of the bases with the maker’s mark: M over CH, the lion passant sterling mark, the leopard’s head London mark, and the date letter for 1997. The candlesticks have a tapered circular stem with a knopped terminus raised on a spreading circular pedestal base. An urn shaped sconce supports the detachable reeded-bordered bobeches. ...
