A fabulous large English sterling silver carved crystal and sterling silver wheelbarrow. The crystal is carved with flower heads, leaves and scrolls. The silver mount very well executed encasing the glass on four sides and also forming the handles, feet and movable wheel. Fully marked on the underside with English hallmarks for London 1907 and WC makers mark for William Comyns. He was know for sterling mounted carved rock crystal. Gorgeous and elegant, this Pair of Sterling Silver English George III Style Candlesticks was made in London in 1997. The candlesticks are fully hallmarked on the sides of the bases with the maker’s mark: M over CH, the lion passant sterling mark, the leopard’s head London mark, and the date letter for 1997. The candlesticks have a tapered circular stem with a knopped terminus raised on a spreading circular pedestal base. An urn shaped sconce supports the detachable reeded-bordered bobeches. ... An English sterling silver sugar castor styled in the manner of a classic 18th Century Georgian. A raised waved design covers the lower half of the castor and its' domed cover. Lovely figural shells and scrolls adorn its' neck and highlight a large gadroon trimmed edge. Made in London, England, dated 1910. Fully hallmarked, nice patina excellent condition. 15 troy ounces, very heavy weight, height 8 1/2", diameter approx. 3 1/4".
