English gilt sterling silver & agate fruit set. This set comprises 24 pieces: 12 knives and 12 forks. Each: Tapering and chamfered rectilinear handle in mottled and translucent agate. Colors vary. Gilt sterling silver blades with 2 armorials (knives) and 4-tined shanks with 1 armorial (forks); stippled and scrolled mount. In stained-wood case with fitted velvet.

George V sterling silver sugar caster. Made by Harrison Bros & Howson in London in 1911. Baluster with applied shell-mounted garland on domed foot with chased imbricated leaf-and-flower border. Cover threaded and domed with vasiform finial and ornamental piercing. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

English Victorian cologne bottle, 1880. Cut-glass cylinder with short and threaded inset neck. Ball cover in form of male head with big ears, receding hairline, tronie-style grimace, and red bead eyes. Fully marked including London assay stamp and unidentified maker’s initials “T.S” in oval. Very good condition.

George V sterling silver bowl. Made by Mappin & Webb in Sheffield in 1923. Faceted and curved with monteith-style molded curvilinear rim. Foot raised with same. Fully marked including design no. 606564, which was registered in 1912. Excellent condition.

Front has rectangular mono plate. Cover top has engraved diagonal band with chevron in lower right corner, and tooled border. Corner splayed bracket supports. Interior cedar lined and partitioned. Box underside laminate lined. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Tapering rectilinear half-fluted handles in mottled grey and brown agate. Sterling silver blades and 4-tined shanks. Regency Classicism for a special dinner party. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

Pair of English Jacobean Revival flagons. Globular body with scroll handle in brown pottery with granulated salt glaze. Gilt sterling silver neck collar and hinged and domed cover with open scrollwork thumb rest as well as raised foot. Chased strapwork embellished with faces and clusters of fruits and vegetables.

George V safari flask. Made by James Dixon & Sons in Sheffield in 1927. Clear glass body. Top half encased in leather with cutout tubular windows. Bottom half has detachable sterling silver cup. Short straight sterling silver neck with hinged and cork-lined bayonet cover. Easy-grip size. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Delightful Victorian sterling silver rattle. Made by WH Collins & Co. in Birmingham in 1897. Kitty stands stiffly in snug fitting jacket and trousers. Only the tail is free to flick back and forth. A funny depiction of feline ill grace. A bit of a sour puss, but endearing nonetheless. Mother of pearl handle. Fully marked. Good condition.
