A cut crystal vanity powder jar with carved intaglio flowers around its’ body. The sterling silver cover is decorated with a seafoam guilloche enamel border and a rose patterned enamel design surrounded by a garland of blue flowers and bows. Made by Foster & Bailey, Providence, Rhode Island, Circa 1920. Fully Hallmarked. Very Good Condition. The vanity jar measures 3 ½ in. in diameter and stands 2 ½ in. high.

English Sterling Silver mounted cut glass Powder Jar, made by Adie Bros., Birmingham, 1937. The translucent pale blue enamel is over an engraved Art Deco patterned guilloche ground. The cut glass body is engraved with a diamond and hobnail continuous pattern. The interior is fitted with a pale blue matching puff. Diameter: 4 inches. Condition: Excellent

American Sterling Silver and Enamel Cut Glass Powder Jar. The pale blue, pink and green enamel is translucent, and is enameled over a geometric floral engine turned ground. The jar is beautifully hand cut with a geometric band and pendant floral wreathes. This piece is unmarked and is probably American in origin. The center of the lid is open. This powder jar is a perfect receptacle for cotton balls. Diameter: 4 1/2 inches. Condition: Very Good

This is a very dainty and beautifully made aqua enamel on guilloche silver mounted jar. It is hallmarked with the maker’s mark of A.C., Birmingham, 1929. This would add grace and beauty to the counter of any powder room. Diameter: 1 1/2 inches Excellent condition.

The detachable silver and enamel lid is decorated with bands of engraved roses, beaded border, the whole centering a silver plaque cast with two love birds perched on a branch amidst flowers and foliage.
