This is a very elegant silver and pale pink enamel inkwell. The enamel is over an engine turned, or guilloche, wave pattern ground. The inkwell has a domed hinged lid with conforming enamel and guilloche decoration. The inkwell is unmarked and is probably of American origin. This is a very beautiful and decorative work of art and would compliment any petit piece of furniture in any public room of the house. Diameter: 2 3/4 inches. Condition: Excellent
