A square shaped Antique English Cut Crystal Inkwell with a Sterling Silver & Tortoise Shell Mount and Cover. The sterling silver cover is fitted with tortoise shell and inlaid with a delicate scroll design. Made in Birmingham, England. Dated 1909. Fully Hallmarked with a full set of English stamps. Excellent Condition overall. Tortoise shell is in excellent condition as well. The inkwell measures 3 ½ in. X 3 ½ in. and stands 3 1/8 in. high.

A Lovely American Sterling Silver inkwell. Of circular shape with a removable cover. Has the original glass liner that cover fits snugly around. Applied French Revival sterling silver mounts around the middle of the Inkwell include crowns, flames, wreaths and a flame finial topping off the whole design on the cover. Nice patina and condition. Fully hallmarked on the bottom. Diameter 3 inches, Height 3 1/4 inches.

This stately Victorian period sterling silver Inkstand was made by Martin Hall & Co. of Sheffield, England, in 1885. It is fully hallmarked on the Inkstand as well as the collars and hinged lids of the two sterling mounted cut glass inkwells. The inkstand is designed as a gadrooned plinth with a pierced gallery, the plinth supporting two inkwells set in a pierced gallery style holder. This is a very elegant silver and pale pink enamel inkwell. The enamel is over an engine turned, or guilloche, wave pattern ground. The inkwell has a domed hinged lid with conforming enamel and guilloche decoration. The inkwell is unmarked and is probably of American origin.
