The fox head is etched to depict the fox’s fur and the remaining length of the cigar cutter is adorned with a wonderful applied leaves design. German Hallmarks, circa 1900. The cigar cutter measures 5 ½ in. in length and 1 in. in width.

This is a prime example of the “hunt” style cigar cutter used by smokers during that time period. This particular cigar cutter is made with a stag horn handle and the spring action cutter is of stainless steel. The piece is in very good condition. Marked Solingen 5650. Length: 8 1/2 inches

This is an attractive and well-made stainless steel spring action and antelope horn bodied cigar cutter. Over 70% of all males were smokers during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Therefore, there was an abundance of smoking accessories produced during that period to accompany the ritual of cigar smoking. Today, these items are highly collected as decorative and functional conversation pieces. This piece is in very good estate condition. Length: 11 inches

This is truly a cigar aficionado’s delight! A sterling silver box with a cigar cutting mechanism on top and a small button that when pressed releases and reveals a box behind the match striker plaque below it. It was made in London by Cooke & Kelvey in 1916. It is fully hallmarked. Also, it was then retailed in Calcutta as is noted on the box. It is very condition. The box measures 4 in. X 2 ¾ in. at its base and stands 3 1/8 in. high.
