An American sterling silver double tea caddy made by Theodore B. Starr, New York, circa 1910. This particular tea caddy has a very pleasing and distinctive shape and has two individual boxes with hinged covers on either side. A charming figural pineapple finial graces the top. This is a most attractive gilded bronze picture frame decorated with an assortment of neo-classical motifs set against a grey-green silk background.
