Party-size sterling silver cocktail shaker, ca 1940. Curved and tapering sides with capped scroll handle, stubby diagonal spout with built-in strainer, short neck, and stepped round foot. Cover and spout cap bun-form with stepped “bull’s-eye” finial. Hallmarked Watson, a maker located in Attleboro, Mass., that was acquired by Wallace in the mid-1950s. Hallmark includes no. W83 and Philadelphia retailer’s name JE Caldwell. Fine form and in full working order.
