Beautiful Victorian sterling silver mug fully hallmarked for Gorham made in the year 1889. Bottom half of the body decorated with a applied frieze of scrolled decoration with 2 putti. Handle is a fine cast decorated handle. 3 1/4 inches tall. Very heavy weight. Very heavy gauge silver in very nice condition. A great American design.

Fine large 1887 mug with excellent work around the body of the cup. Nicely worked handle, gilded interior. Fully hallmarked on the base with the Gorham hallmarks, Sterling, style number 4067 and the date mark we believe is for 1887. 3 3/8 inches to top of the handle. Nice patina.

The body pushed out with chased decoration depicting trees, a young boy placing a model boat in the water with a young girl standing next to him. Also has a dog and house. The entire scene is finely engraved with detail such as the hair on the dog and the hay on the thatched roof. On decorated foot with applied shaped handle. This pristine canister form beaded and steel cut engraved child’s mug with gilded interior was made by Joseph and Edward Bradbury of Thos. Bradbury and Sons, London, 1869. The mug is fully hallmarked on the base and even has a patent registry mark for sterling silver for this particular design. Weight: 5 Troy Ounces. Height: 3 1/4 inches. This mug is in the late 19th/early 20th century Oriental style of decoration. The mug is chased, engraved and hand hammered with flowers on one side of its baluster shaped body. The double scroll handle is decorated with cast scrollwork. The mug was made by the International Silver Co. of Meriden, CT and is hallmarked as such, along with the style #C1134. Victorian Sterling Silver Mug, made by H. Wilkinson & Co., Sheffield, 1867, also marked with retailer’s mark of J. Mayer Silversmiths, Liverpool. This mug is of slightly tapered canister form, engraved and chased with a hobnail and lattice motif, the leaf and scroll capped “C” scroll shaped handle with applied floral motifs. Height: 3 3/4 inches. Weight: 4.60 Troy Ounces. Condition: Excellent with beautiful antique patina.

Of cylindrical form, with molded rim and foot, each with egg and dart border, the body applied with chased, cast and repousse floral wreathes pendant from ribbon tied supports, the center applied with a putti (baby angel), 'D' shaped handle. Height overall: 3 1/2", weight: 7.25 troy ounces. Condition: Very Good, minor wear to rim and foot, as expected due to age.
