Gorham Sterling Silver Mug Cup 1889 BE975Beautiful Victorian sterling silver mug fully hallmarked for Gorham made in the year 1889. Bottom half of the body decorated with a applied frieze of scrolled decoration with 2 putti. Handle is a fine cast decorated handle. 3 1/4 inches tall. Very heavy weight. Very heavy gauge silver in very nice condition. A great American design.

Antique English Sterling Cup Figural Scene London 1853 BE237A unique English sterling silver mug with a complete scene. The body pushed out with chased decoration depicting trees, a young boy placing a model boat in the water with a young girl standing next to him. Also has a dog and house. The entire scene is finely engraved with detail such as the hair on the dog and the hay on the thatched roof. On decorated foot with applied shaped handle. The mug is chased, engraved and hand hammered with flowers on one side of its baluster shaped body. The double scroll handle is decorated with cast scrollwork.
